How to change your habit pattern? We know what is right and wrong at the surface level of intellect. We even try to act with our intellect or conscious mind. But the sub-conscious mind is reacting with their habit patterns. Do you know why it's happening? Because we are not aware of the sub-conscious mind. We are thinking and understanding that we are happy, but deep down inside we know something is not good, still we are not aware. Because our Dhyana is not there. Simply we have to go within and observing the habit patters of reacting. The subconscious mind is kept reacting with their habit patterns. When we take our Dhyana to root of reacting, that habit pattern is disappearing. I understood the Dhyana (the attention). Dhyana is the eye of wisdom.
